Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a high-calibre Senior Geologist / Exploration Manager to lead and executeexploration activities at its Georgetown Project in Far North Queensland. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of a ~10,000m drilling programme, with strong potential to define a significant copper-gold discovery. The role will initially be field-intensive, requiring direct oversight of all on-ground activities, contractor performance, and stakeholder engagement. As the project evolves, the role is expected to transitioninto a broader Exploration Manager function across the asset.
Key Responsibilities
Exploration Programme Execution
• Plan, coordinate and deliver a 10,000m drilling programme (RC and diamond)
• Manage drill contractors, field crews, and technical consultants
• Ensure safe, efficient and cost-controlled operations
• Oversee logging, sampling, QA/QC and data integrity
Field Leadership
• Act as site lead during drilling campaigns
• Supervise all geological and field personnel
• Maintain strong discipline on productivity, safety and data quality
• Troubleshoot operational issues in real time
Geology & Targeting
• Interpret geological, structural and geochemical data
• Refine and prioritise drill targets
• Build and maintain 3D geological models
• Contribute to evolving exploration strategyStakeholder & Land Access Management
• Lead engagement with:o Landholderso Traditional Owners / heritage groups
• Support negotiation of access agreements and heritage clearances
• Maintain strong, respectful and practical relationships on the groundData, Systems & Reporting
• Maintain high-quality geological database and workflows
• Strong use of:
- GIS systems
- 3D modelling software (Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine or similar)
• Prepare:
- Daily and weekly operational reports
- Monthly board reports
- Technical summaries and ASX release inputs
Cost & Contractor Management
• Manage drilling and exploration budgets
• Monitor cost per metre and programme efficiency
• Negotiate and manage contractor performance and scope
Growth to Exploration Manager
• As success is achieved, transition into:
- Broader programme planning
- Budget ownership
- Multi-asset oversight (as Company expands)
Required Skills & Experience
Technical
• 10–20+ years’ experience in exploration geology
• Strong experience in drill programme design and execution
• Demonstrated success in greenfields or brownfields discovery environments
• High competence in:
- Structural geology
- Target generation
- Data interpretationSystems & Tools
• Advanced capability in GIS platforms and 3D modelling software (Leapfrog preferred)
• Strong data management and QA/QC disciplineOperational
• Proven ability to run field programmes independently
• Strong contractor management capability
• Experience working in remote Queensland or similar terrains
Stakeholder Engagement
• Experience working with landholders and indigenous / heritage groups
• Practical, respectful, and outcome-focused approach
Commercial & Leadership
• Strong cost awareness and budget discipline
• Ability to balance technical outcomes with commercial reality
• Clear communicator — written and verbal
Personal Attributes
• Hands-on operator — not a desk geologist
• Calm under pressure during active drilling campaigns

• Able to build credibility quickly with crews and stakeholders
Location & Roster
• Field-based role at Georgetown, Far North Queensland
• Roster to be agreed
• Significant time in field required, particularly during programme execution
Remuneration
This role is critical to Company`s near-term success and will be compensated accordingly.
