Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical / RF Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and production of advanced radio frequency (RF) and electrical systems. This role involves hands-on engineering work across cable design, PCB, FPGA, and PLC systems, as well as troubleshooting and post-production support. The successful candidate will play a key role in new product introduction (NPI), continuous improvement initiatives (CIP), and cross-functional engineering support within a collaborative on-site team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop RF systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during development and post-mass production stages.
Perform cable design, unit wiring design, layout, assembly, and modification activities.
Develop and review PCB, FPGA, and PLC designs.
Support the design and development of transportation system components, including wire harness-related tasks.
Investigate defects and implement corrective actions for electrical modules and tools, providing timely escalation support when required.
Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BoM) and manage Engineering Change processes.
Create and revise electrical assemblies, schematics, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Improvement (CIP) builds by creating and maintaining OMS documentation.
Design and modify electrical equipment used in manufacturing and assembly processes, incorporating operator feedback to optimize production.
Develop electrical test methods and validate finished product/system performance to ensure compliance with
quality standards.
Research customer requirements, evaluate manufacturing methods and materials, and contribute to the development of new electrical products.
Collect, analyze, and summarize technical data to produce product performance and engineering reports.
Provide technical responses to engineering-related queries and maintain accurate product databases.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards while maintaining product and company reputation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in RF system development and troubleshooting.
Strong hands-on experience with cable design, wiring layout, and electrical assembly.
Practical knowledge of PCB, FPGA, and PLC design.
Experience with BoM management and Engineering Change Management processes.
Familiarity with electrical testing methodologies and manufacturing process development.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a small on-site team.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Working Environment
The position is based on-site within a customer office environment. You will work closely with a small, focused team, including existing engineering members already supporting the project.
